Let’s face it. Sometimes we aren’t “feelin’ it” when it comes to Valentine’s day. Ladies, sometimes we don’t feel sexy, and guys… well they can be clueless at times. Special occasions can become stressful instead of joyful. I know it alllll too well. Some may feel that Valentine’s day is just manufactured holiday, and they are right. Kidding! Valentine’s day should not be an obligation but a time to celebrate! Think of it as a bonus night! In fact, you don’t even have to celebrate it on the the actual day (especially on a Tuesday night). However, you should reserve a time with your beloved to something extra special. Since my husband and I are still in the honeymoon phase and do not have children yet, I see Valentine’s day as a great excuse to have an amazing date night. This doesn’t translate into spending a small fortune! It is all about creating an experience.
Relationship expect Julie Partin and I collaborated and created a webisode with tips on how to have a NO FAIL Valentine’s day. We start by giving you preparation tips, meaningful gift ideas and tips on how to create an experience to remember. Leave all of the problems at home and focus on your “bonus date night”. Feel free to leave tips and tell us how you had an epic Valentine’s day!
